Pawsitive Choice has officially been a thing for a full month now! As I sit on my couch, snuggling my pets, and watching RRR for the one millionth time (RIP Ray Stevenson), I’ve been looking back on what parts of starting my own business have I enjoyed and what parts have failed to spark joy.

Making business cards!
With some amazing help from a good friend, Pawsitive Choice has an awesome logo! I’m very happy with how it turned out and the business cards are perfect! Cybil, Koi, and I will be making an appearance at the Fetch! Pet Care booth next Saturday, August 12th, on All About Dogs Day in Chaska, MN. I’m really excited to start sharing them with my community.
Judging by the fact that it’s taken me several hours to get this far into this post, I have a feeling blogging won’t be one of my fortes in this endeavor. Part of that is because I want to provide visual aids, images, etc, of the events I attend and after all of the health issues I’ve had, I’ve put on a lot of weight and I don’t like how I look in my photos… My physical body is still recovering from several recent surgical procedures and autoimmune issues… Combining that with the new job, helping with Fetch! Pet Care, AND starting my own business life has been very challenging physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Even positive experiences can be very exhausting, and I’m doing my best to not burn myself out.
Goals for August!
There are a lot of fun events going on in August that I’m hoping to take the dogs to, basically one for every weekend this month.
All About Dogs
Minnesota State Faire
Minnesota Renaissance Festival
2d Con
And I’ll do my best to start taking more photos and sharing my experiences with the dogs in public spaces! See you out there!
